We are an English couple who moved to Bulgaria in
September 2007.  We decided to sell up in the UK and
move to Bulgaria after a two week holiday about a
year ago.

We had a wonderful time during our holiday but due
 to the language barrier we found it hard to even 
order a drink at first.  The Bulgarian people though
were great and very helpful, the landscape incredibly
picturesque so we decided that was it, lets move..

Seven Months later we arrived at our new home in Bulgaria, initially our intention was to buy and renovate additional property. Our first renovation is due to start in March 2008.  After settling in and meeting other newcomers to Bulgaria, we have decided to open our home as a bed and breakfast. This way we can continue to welcome guests and are able to pass on our newly acquired knowledge of the area and culture.   

So here we are living in Bulgaria,  running a B&B. We are looking forward to a future that is very different to the 9 to 5 working life we led in England.
